Lee’s selvedge is often plain weave, both genuine vintage and reprinted, but the selvedge of this jeans is twill weave.
Plain weave is less likely to fade due to puckering along the outseam, but twill weave tends to wave fade.
Even if you look at the image, the fade line is starting to appear along the out seam.
